Too Curious

Today marked 20 months for Ellabeth and 11 days for Anderson. Whenever people ask how far apart our children are spaced, their response is typically "did you plan that?" Planned or not planned, we would not change a thing about having two kids that can grow up together and hopefully become best of friends...but yes, we did.

Clickety-Clack

Ellabeth loves walking on the tile in these shoes and listening to the sound that the little heels make, but she hasn't quite mastered her balance in size 9 flats.

we tried to get family/maternity pics just 4 days before anderson was born.  ellabeth's facial expression in the first photo pretty much describes how the session went, but we got a couple cute smiles out of her.

One Week Already!

Today we finally gave Anderson his first sponge bath since coming home.

Ellabeth does not like it when Anderson cries, so she was a little apprehensive about getting him clean.

Fortunately, he didn't really mind the process.

Ellabeth has been doing great adjusting to having Anderson at home, but when it comes to eating she does like to test the limits and see how much independence she can get.

If Anderson is awake, Ellabeth is sure to be right with him!

What an Adventure!

It's only been 4 days, and we are already getting behind on blog posts.  No time for text description, but you can see what we've been up to in the video.

Not Your Ordinary Monday

After almost 24 hours of sleeping, Anderson decided to open his eyes and have his first alert time early Monday morning.

Around 11, we finished the checkout process at the hospital and headed home.

Soon after we got home, Ellabeth decided to really be a big girl and sat in her booster seat to eat lunch.

She had fun cheering with her new pom-poms.

She still loves to kiss and hug Anderson, but she's not too happy  when he takes mommy or daddy away from her.  The next few days should be an adventure!

Best Big Sis

Ellabeth was so excited when she got to meet Anderson. She loves to give him kisses -which resemble mouth-to-mouth resuscitation - and she loves to pat him with "gentle hands."

Baby Stats

Anderson Donald arrived at 12:09am on 04/26/09. He measured in at 6lb. 7oz. and 20.5in. We are all doing great!

Welcome World

Spring Street Fair

Friday evening we headed into the annual OKC festival of arts.  Ellabeth had a great time playing by the fountain, running in the kids' area and drinking/sharing her smoothie.

Just Like Daddy

Ellabeth thought she was so cute when she climbed up on the couch and mimicked Donnie's facial expressions and body language.

Zoo Day

Ellabeth loved getting to see the animals, and she enjoyed her first ever carousel ride.

She's a Mac Girl

We have no idea what work she needed to do on the computer or why she needed the hat on backwards, but she definitely had a purpose to what she was doing!
