Staycation - Part 3

After a wonderful night of sleep, he went back for a little more water fun. Ellabeth picked up right where she left off, and Lilajean got her first pool experience.

Not to be shown up by his little sis, Anderson ventured into the water.

Staycation - Part 2

We took the short drive downtown to stay and play in the water. Ellabeth loved it immediately.

This was the only other kid in the water, and he was Ellabeth's friend for the evening.

Anderson had no interest in the water, but he did look cute in his swim gear!

After a quick dinner and a hug, we headed out to walk along the canal.

This (very blurry) pic is the only family one from our staycation.

Just like wise parents would do, we loaded them with sugar right before bed!

Staycation - Part 1

Daddy had a few days off, so we had fun with local adventures. We started with a trip to the aquarium. Since most kids were in school, we had the place almost to ourselves. Ellabeth and Anderson loved all the exhibits and really enjoyed touching the live marine life. We did thoroughly wash hands before our picnic lunch!
