What an Adventure!

It's only been 4 days, and we are already getting behind on blog posts.  No time for text description, but you can see what we've been up to in the video.

Not Your Ordinary Monday

After almost 24 hours of sleeping, Anderson decided to open his eyes and have his first alert time early Monday morning.

Around 11, we finished the checkout process at the hospital and headed home.

Soon after we got home, Ellabeth decided to really be a big girl and sat in her booster seat to eat lunch.

She had fun cheering with her new pom-poms.

She still loves to kiss and hug Anderson, but she's not too happy  when he takes mommy or daddy away from her.  The next few days should be an adventure!

Best Big Sis

Ellabeth was so excited when she got to meet Anderson. She loves to give him kisses -which resemble mouth-to-mouth resuscitation - and she loves to pat him with "gentle hands."

Baby Stats

Anderson Donald arrived at 12:09am on 04/26/09. He measured in at 6lb. 7oz. and 20.5in. We are all doing great!

Welcome World

Spring Street Fair

Friday evening we headed into the annual OKC festival of arts.  Ellabeth had a great time playing by the fountain, running in the kids' area and drinking/sharing her smoothie.

Just Like Daddy

Ellabeth thought she was so cute when she climbed up on the couch and mimicked Donnie's facial expressions and body language.

Zoo Day

Ellabeth loved getting to see the animals, and she enjoyed her first ever carousel ride.

She's a Mac Girl

We have no idea what work she needed to do on the computer or why she needed the hat on backwards, but she definitely had a purpose to what she was doing!

Where We Go, The Wind Follows

After Portland, we got to spend a couple days on the beach in LA. We did get to see some sun, but it was cool and super windy each day.  All grandmas should be happy because Ellabeth loves to have her hood up when it's windy outside. She didn't want anything to do with the sand or water, but she had a great time chasing the birds around on the grass.

Fun With Friends

Clint, Rachel and family recently moved from IN to OR.  They were able to drive to Portland and spend Easter afternoon in the hotel with us.  We had a great time catching up with Clint and Rachel, and the kids had a blast playing together!

Easter in Oregon

Although it wasn't the most traditional way to celebrate Easter, we had a great day.  We won the battle against the time zone change and made it to 9am church, and the Easter Bunny was able to find Ellabeth in the hotel room.

The Wind-Blown Look

It was so windy here on Friday that Ellabeth actually blew over, but that didn't stop her from having a good time!

Getting Closer

If Baby arrives when expected, we only have 4 weeks until he is here! Ellabeth still loves to give him kisses, but we are not sure she'll be so happy when he invades her world.
