First Big Boo Boo

last wednesday i got a call from eb's school because she fell off these yellow steps
and looked like this.
we went straight to the emergency room
with these two along for the ride.
after some consults and observation, we were released and exhausted.

back to the hospital thursday morning to get her ear drained under general anesthesia.
fortunately, help had flown in late wednesday night!
some special treats and tylenol with codeine helped her find her smile back,
and some jewels made her glow.
not one to be held down, she was back at school on monday and is doing great! she gets the stitches out and gets rid of the ear helmet on wednesday. we're all looking forward to that!

You never want to see the school's phone number on the caller ID in the middle of the day! So sorry Ellabeth! You are such a strong girl, what a trooper! And you make that ear helmet look good:) You'll be back on those yellow steps in no time. Hugs from Colorado!
