First Food

Anderson got his first taste of cereal tonight. He hasn't quite got swallowing figured out yet, but he enjoyed eating off the spoon! You would think that Donnie and I would be a little more on top of things with baby #2, but we obviously forgot the bib - nothing a little Dreft can't take care of!

First Day of School

The morning started with a healthy breakfast.

She sat like a big girl to get her hair done.

A look of concern about what was going on...

but she quickly recovered and found a smile!

Truth be told, "first day of school" is a little deceiving on 2 counts. It's really not school - it's a mom's day out 5 hours 1 day a week. And, she didn't even have a full "day." Two hours after drop off I got a call saying she had been crying all morning and had probably had enough. This daily report is definitely going in the baby book! Better luck next week?

Fun at the Park

We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon with a picnic and playing at the park.

First Family Vacation

Although we travel frequently, we've never been on a family vacation, so we stopped at Lake of the Ozarks on our drive back from IN and spent a couple days just relaxing.

All About Ellabeth

Anderson is such a good baby that he just lets us drag him along on whatever adventure Ellabeth wants to go on. Unfortunately, that means tons of pics of Ellabeth and very few of Anderson. She couldn't even let him have some one-on-one time with Uncle Seth.

Our little country girl loved helping "popi" (her chosen name for all grandpas) pick and eat a watermelon straight from the garden.

Anderson must have found his thumb while looking for a way to entertain himself!

Ellabeth got very comfortable with Dungy this trip.

She loved playing on the playground and at the splash park.

Mr. Chill just enjoying some cuddle time.

We all had a great time at John and Cindy's for a cookout and early b'day celebration for Ellabeth. She loved flying the kite, eating the cake and opening presents!

Just one day after her Indy b'day celebration, Ellabeth had a wonderful Brownstown b'day party. She got to swim, eat more cake and open more gifts. It was great getting to see everybody on this IN trip!

With all the tub time that we've done, it's only appropriate for our 300th post to be of bath time.
