Road Warriors

This past week Ellabeth and I got to go on a road trip with Donnie. Within minutes, Ellabeth made herself right at home in the hotel room!

She loved to look out the window at all the buildings and lights.

We walked up the steepest street in San Francisco,

and watched trolley cars go by.

After a late game, we headed to Los Angeles.

This was the only glimpse of the California sun that we got.

Even though it was a little wet and chilly, Donnie took Ellabeth down to see the water.

I love watching Donnie and Ellabeth play together!

Kiss Cam

Kiss cam is a regular part of each Thunder game. The basics of kiss cam are that during a timeout the video guys put couples in the crowd up on the jumbo screen and the couple has to kiss. Ellabeth and her friend Joseph have been doing their best to get up on the big screen, but for some reason the camera guys always pass right by them. I think you'll see that they are definitely the cutest couple in the place!

Bow-tiful Baby

Tonight when she was getting ready, Ellabeth just kept handing me bows to put in her hair.  She should be a lot of fun when she starts picking her own outfits one day!

Never-Ending Christmas

Ellabeth was delighted to get more presents in the mail today.  Thank you John, Tammi, Caleb and Avri!

Splish-Splash

Ellabeth still loves her tub time!  She's started drinking the water any way she can and bathing her baby.

Here Vs. There

Oklahoma City and Boston are dramatically different places to live.  One definite advantage of OKC is the occasional 60 degree day in the middle of winter to get outside and play!

Christmas Came Again

Ellabeth enjoyed a week of playing with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Emily. While they were here, she got to celebrate another Christmas. She's going to be disappointed when no gifts appear next week!

Welcome Home

We took advantage of the nice weather yesterday and let Ellabeth play outside in her new house.

My New Toy

I got a camera for Christmas and spent the day playing with the settings and trying to figure out how to use it.  Fortunately, I have a great subject to work with!

What a Week!

Most kids are fortunate to have one Christmas. Ellabeth got to celebrate Christmas for 5 days straight! On the 20th, Santa brought 1 early gift to help entertain Ellabeth on her trip to IN.

We got off the plane in Indy on the 21st and went straight to family Christmas.

Ellabeth spent the evening enjoying all the attention!

We spent a couple days in Brownstown and had a wonderful Christmas gathering with Ellabeth's great grandparents on the 22nd and family Christmas on the 23rd.

She started to really get into opening gifts and used any means possible to remove paper and ribbons!

After an unexpected day of driving back to OKC on the 24th, Ellabeth and Daddy were so happy to see each other!

Christmas day was a fabulous relaxing family day.

Even though she didn't open any gifts on the 26th, Ellabeth still had a big smile on her face! Thank you to everybody who went out of their way to make Christmas so special for Ellabeth!

Yummy Cookies

After a couple hours of baking and icing, I started to wonder why I decided to make Christmas cookies...

but watching Ellabeth eat a star made all the time and mess well worth it!
