Happy 6 Months Anderson!

On Monday, Anderson hit the 1/2 year mark - time is truly flying by! He wasn't feeling great, but we didn't let a snotty nose, a patch of eczema and tons of drool stop us from keeping the tradition of the 1/2 year cake photo shoot. He was a good sport, and daddy got some fun smiles out of him.

Wild Child

Over the last two months, Ellabeth has made huge improvements in going to school. Each week, her teacher has reported that she has had less crying and more fun playing. When we picked her up today, her teacher said that she had a fabulous day. She played and had fun - but had some trouble at nap time. I expected the teacher to say that she had been crying or wanted mommy during nap. Oh no, she said that at nap Ellabeth became a "wild child" and wouldn't stay on her nap mat. Not only that, she kept throwing her blanket on her sleeping friends trying to get them to wake up and play!

Anderson must have heard us talking about replacing the living room furniture and decided to show his affection for the old stuff!

Hello Fall

We had a great time checking out a local pumpkin patch over the weekend!

Technical Difficulties

We've had some trouble getting our pics from our camera to the computer. We finally got it figured out today, so here's an update from the last week.

Anderson is starting to play around with getting into the crawl position.

Donnie got put on hair duty - not bad for his first attempt at pigtails!

It's been chilly here, so we had to get out the winter pj's.

Ellabeth woke up one morning and decided she was still sleepy. She brought out both music boxes and all the blankets, covered Anderson up, turned on the music and said "my nap." Anderson must have found it very funny.

She puts mittens on her feet and socks on her hands?

Fish Out Of Water

We think Anderson is starting to get interested in getting mobile. He gets his arms, legs and head moving and kind of looks like he's trying to swim across the carpet. It's very cute but hard to capture on camera. Ellabeth, however, doesn't think it's that impressive!

Just Like Claire

When Claire was here, she loved dancing around in Ellabeth's pink tutu. Now, Ellabeth -who previously wanted nothing to do with the tutu- puts it on as her daily accessory. Now to get her to use the potty just like Claire...
