Out with the Animals

No, I'm not referring to our children.  We actually got everybody loaded up and headed to the zoo.  Anderson slept most of the time, but Ellabeth kept an eye on him in the stroller. She is developing a love for the gorilla exhibit and the carousel, and she had fun showing Uncle Seth what a big girl she is!

Catching Some Rays

After a very rainy three weeks, it was great to get out and get some fresh air and sunshine.

Tub Time

Anderson got his first bath today, and Ellabeth was part of all the action.  He started out sleeping in the water.  He enjoyed relaxing but wasn't too happy about getting cleaned.

Dancing Girl

Ellabeth's new favorite dance move is the low squat. We have no idea how she comes up with her moves, but she loves to dance - and Anderson loves to watch!

Happy Mama

It was wonderful getting to  enjoy mother's day with one great husband and two loving kids!

Ellabeth's Afternoon

Ellabeth had so much fun licking cake batter of the mixer beater.  With Grandma in town to keep Anderson, Ellabeth got to spend some alone time playing with Mommy and Daddy.

Big Gainer

Anderson had his 2 week appointment and has gained almost a pound since he was born!  He's up to 7lb 60z and 21 inches long. Ellabeth did her own check of Anderson to make sure he has all 10 of his toes.

Too Curious

Today marked 20 months for Ellabeth and 11 days for Anderson. Whenever people ask how far apart our children are spaced, their response is typically "did you plan that?" Planned or not planned, we would not change a thing about having two kids that can grow up together and hopefully become best of friends...but yes, we did.

Clickety-Clack

Ellabeth loves walking on the tile in these shoes and listening to the sound that the little heels make, but she hasn't quite mastered her balance in size 9 flats.

He's a Milk Man

we tried to get family/maternity pics just 4 days before anderson was born.  ellabeth's facial expression in the first photo pretty much describes how the session went, but we got a couple cute smiles out of her.

One Week Already!

Today we finally gave Anderson his first sponge bath since coming home.

Ellabeth does not like it when Anderson cries, so she was a little apprehensive about getting him clean.

Fortunately, he didn't really mind the process.

Ellabeth has been doing great adjusting to having Anderson at home, but when it comes to eating she does like to test the limits and see how much independence she can get.

By His Side

If Anderson is awake, Ellabeth is sure to be right with him!
